These Butter Crocks are based on a French design. The lid holds about a stick of butter, and the crock should be filled with about 1/4 cup of water; add a pinch of salt to the water for best results. When the lid is placed into the crock, the water forms an airtight seal, allowing you to leave the crock on the table and have perfectly spreadable butter anytime! Available in several different glazes - just select the glaze you’d like to receive. Detail shots of each glaze are available by clicking the thumbnails on the left.

We recommend packing the butter into the lid with a spoon, and changing the water once a week. Comes with an illustrated instruction card.
