Using the Dogwood White glaze layered with a copper based glaze, and placing this piece in the wood kiln where it was salted, the kiln produced fantastic colors with the swirling of flame and smoke during the firing. This form is inspired by early Asian pieces and has been produced at Jugtown since our founding.
