This wonderful book by Stephen C. Compton chronicles several historic art potteries of the Seagrove region of NC - including a chapter devoted to Jugtown. There are many excellent photos showing examples of potters work, detailed histories, and a great section devoted to stamps and marks used on early art pieces made in NC.
