This striking vase has soft colors created by using our Lavender glaze at the top, and leaving the bottom unglazed. In the wood kiln, adding a small amount of salt, the Lavender glaze yields soft lilac colors and a sprinkle of cobalt blue. The clay reacts very well to this environment, showing warm brown tones.
