Pumpkins at Jugtown 2019!

This has become a much anticipated event, and with over 600 Pottery Pumpkins available this year, we expect another excellent day! Most of our pumpkins are made with a removable lid, so they can function as a covered jar, canister, or simply as a display piece. We will have many sizes of Pumpkins in lots of glazes - even some that we haven’t offered before. For Pumpkin Day 2019, we will have different displays in the Sales Cabin than in the past, plus more checkout stations which should expedite sales once folks have made their selections. Plus, we will have extra staff on hand for assistance and to answer any questions. Even though this will be our largest offering of Jugtown Pumpkins to date, we still recommend to those with a special piece in mind, or for those seeking the best selection, please come early!

For anyone arriving before the Sales Cabin opens at 8:30: You will receive a number, based on arrival time, which will hold your place in line. This allows you to walk around, have a refreshment and relax before we open. Many folks take this opportunity to look in the windows of the Sales Cabin to plan which Pumpkins they would like to see once doors open. At about 8:20, we will ask everyone to line up at the front door of the Sales Cabin, in order of the number they received, then we will collect the numbers as you enter the shop when the door opens at 8:30.

We are very excited about this year’s event, and look forward to seeing everyone. The preview below will be updated regularly until just a few days before the event, to give you an idea of what will be available here at Jugtown on October 5.
